This training session in Ratlam aimed to empower artisans to craft adobes without the use of cement. We introduced a method of stabilizing the adobes using interground lime and surkhi, manually mixed with the help of a cricket pitch roller. To shape the adobes, a custom steel mold was designed, allowing each piece to be formed with precision. The adobes were then left to dry in the shade, and a careful 28-day curing process was followed to ensure they dried slowly, preserving their strength and durability.
