This project involved the renovation of a 150-year-old timber house, a challenging task that required lifting the entire structure using 200 hydraulic jacks. The interior design aimed to capture the essence of traditional Kerala Courtyard Houses, where simplicity and connection with nature are key. We used only eco-friendly materials, creating a fresh, natural atmosphere through thoughtful upholstery choices. The focus was on making spaces more interactive and inviting.

To enhance the natural experience, we introduced washrooms with gardens and open-to-sky toilets, bringing a sense of freedom and closeness to nature into the everyday experience.
